BATMAN BEYOND RETURN OF THE JOKER MOVIE
It is one of the best animated movie I have ever seen. Until then, I'll just enjoy the movie the way Warner Brothers released it. Hopefully, Warner Brothers will come out with a version that contains the cut footage some day. I think it would be really interesting to see the footage that was cut from the movie. Sadly, none of the filmakers' mentioned the cuts that were made by Warner Brothers due to the amount of violence. I had no idea that so much work was done on this movie in such a short time. A few days later, I bought it on DVD and listened to the filmakers' commentary. This was so different from the show in so many ways and had such great animation. The first couple of scenes seemed a little too much like the television show, but as soon as I saw the new Joker, I knew this was going to be Batman like we have never seen him before. I rented BATMAN BEYOND: RETURN OF THE JOKER because I love the BATMAN BEYOND television show and I loved BATMAN BEYOND: THE MOVIE.
It was very exciting and I think it would have done pretty well in theatres. I do not know why this was a direct-to-video release. Terry McGinnis: Why? I thought the Joker always wanted to make Batman laugh! What? You couldn't get a job as a rodeo clown?

He wouldn't know a good joke if it bit him in the cape. Terry McGinnis: The real reason you kept coming back was you never got a laugh out of the old man. Terry McGinnis: Oh, I don't need a degree to figure you out. The Joker: Don't play psychoanalyst with me, boy! Terry McGinnis: The real Batman never talked to you much, did he? That's probably why you were so fixated on him. Terry McGinnis: Not a comedian, I'll tell you that. Terry McGinnis: Can't say the same for you. Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker (also known as Batman of the Future: Return of the Joker in Europe and Australia) is a direct-to-video animated feature. Terry McGinnis: Told you you didn't know me.
